Allaah, The All Powerful, says in the Qur'an:
"They say: 'Ar-Rehmaan has begotten a son!
Indeed ye have put forth a thing most monstrous!
At it the skies are ready to burst, the earth to split asunder, and the mountains to fall down in utter ruin,
That they should invoke a son for Ar-Rehmaan
For it is not consonant with the majesty of Ar-Rehmaan that He should beget a son.'"
[Al Qur'an 19:88-92]
Those who say that Allaah Almighty, has given birth to a son actually abuse Him. We all know that Christians claim that Jesus [Isâ (Alayhi salaam)] is the 'begotten' son of Allaah, The All Magestic, God Forbid! And every year they celebrate Christmas on the 25th of December to celebrate the claimed birthday of Jesus (peace be upon him).
Based on the translation of the verses of the Qur'ân quoted above, it is absolutely clear and beyond any iota of doubt that a Muslim cannot and should not celebrate or take part in the celebration of Christmas! And anyone who does so is according to the translation of the verses of the Qur'ân quoted above, abusing Allaah, The Highest.
Now have a look at this video, (allow it to buffer if you have a slow internet connection):
Dr Tahir ul Qadri Celebrating Christmas
This is Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri, popularly refferred to as 'Shaykh-ul-Islam'. He is celebrating Christmas with a Padri! And this is an annual function that is carried out every year by him through his organization 'Minhaj-ul-Qur'an International'.
Is he not abusing Allaah, The All Merciful? By being a part of their celebration (actually here the Christians are a part of his celebration, because he and his organization are the host) is he not testifying, giving shahada to their claim, that Allaah physically gave birth to a son (Jesus) on 25th of December? God Forbid!
Dr Tahir ul Qadri, is a prime speaker on Qtv! We would like to know, why is Qtv promoting such a man? Why is Qtv promoting Dr Tahir ul Qadri who is openly abusing Allaah, who is making fun of the verses of the Qu'rân? Which Islam is Qtv trying to promote by promoting such a man? Isn't Qtv misleading common masses by promoting such a man and falsely referring him as 'Shaykh-ul-Islam'?
