The ARY Group or Abdul Rauf Yaqoob Group is a Dubai-based holding company founded by a Pakistani businessman, Haji Abdul Rauf Yaqoob (ARY) who is also the President of World Memon Organization (WMO). Haji Abdul Rauf is the Chairman of the ARY Group. The ARY Group is into various sectors, which include the ARY Digital Network.

ARY Qtv - Quran TV
ARY Zauq - Food channel

ARY Qtv was launched on 1st September 2003 by the group of ARY Films and TV Production. Most of the content of ARY Qtv is in Urdu. The channel has shows featuring Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri, Mufti Abu Bakr, Mufti Akmal, Mufti Sohail Raza Amjadi etc. Other shows include talk shows, question and answer shows, Qawwali music and Naat.

Though their website claims that ARY Qtv satisfies all the Schools of Thought that belongs to Isalm; that surely is not the case. First and foremost, this statement itself gives a sense that they are not imparting pure teachings of Islam. Secondly, everyone knows that they promote ONLY the teachings of Imam Abu Haeefa (May Allaah have Mercy on him) and preach the teachings of 'Barelvi' sect, which is a deviated and perverted sect!

Through this blog we aim to expose the false teachings of ARY Qtv and point out the wrong practices common among people and hence impart the correct and true teachings of Islam to the people, InshaAllaah. We only request you to keep striving for the Truth and do not blindly follow what anyone says. We should Only Follow Qur'an and the Authentic Sayings of Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم). And hence, we should make it a habit that when it comes to Religion, to check up as many things as we can in the Qur'an and Authentic Hadith.
