Thankfully the slogan has now changed.
New Slogan: "Roshni Sab Kay Liye"

Narrated Ibn 'Umar (may Allaah be pleased with him): Allaah's Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said, "Do the opposite of what the pagans do, cut the moustaches short and leave the beard (as it is)."
[Sahih Al Bukhari : Volume 7 : Book 72 : Number 781]

The Noble Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) in very clear words comanded to spot and grow beard. Allaah (Subhana wa Ta'laa) in numerous places in the Qur'an orders us: "Obey Allaah and obey His Messenger". As mentioned, it is ordered in many places in the Qur'an like Surah 3 Aayat 32, Surah 3 Aayat 132, Surah 4 Aayat 59, Surah 5 Aayat 92, Surah 8 Aayat 1, Surah 8 Aayat 20, Surah 8 Aayat 46, Surah 33 Aayat 33, Surah 47 Aayat 33, Surah 58 Aayat 13, Surah 64 Aayat 12.

But unfortunately, we find that a number of hosts of various programs on Qtv - "The Only Islamic Channel" - are beardless. Clearly violating the comandment of Allaah and His Rasool (صلى الله عليه وسلم). What message are they trying to give ?

Why do the channel or its 'Muftis' and 'Shaykh ul Hadees' and 'Islamic Scholars' not do anything about it? Can't they make it a point that they (the hosts) should spot a beard or else they will be replaced? Can't the channel make such a clause or an order for the hosts to spot a beard and send out a positive message to a common Muslim?
