For a long time now, Qtv has been showing many shameless commercial advertisements which are against the tenets of Islam. There are many advertisements where women are without proper hijab. Keep aside Hijab, in most of the advertisements women are found wearing jeans, t-shirts, sleeveless and tight fitting kameez. Use of Haraam musical instruments is very common in such advertisements.
It is extremely unfortunate that a channel which claims to be an Islamic Channel, which has a relatively high viewership, which is trusted by many people, allows and relays such advertisements. Don't they (authorities of Qtv) even think atleast once that if a man happens to watch such advertisements in which women are without hijab, they will be responsible for it in the court of Allaah?
Why do their 'Muftis' and 'Shaykh ul Hadees' and 'Islamic Scholars' keep mum over this, when they claim to answer the questions/queries of the people "in the light of Qur'an and Hadith" and impart the knowledge of Fiqh? Is it not the duty of these 'Muftis' and 'Shaykh ul Hadees' and 'Islamic Scholars' to see to it that such Haraam things are not shown on the "Only Islamic Channel"?
Though it would be difficult to digest if someone says that it is because of financial reasons. We understand that it is not a childs play to run a channel, but if you do not have enough funds and money then better put off the channel or stop fooling people by calling it an Islamic Channel.
