Narrated Abu 'Amir or Abu Malik Al Ash'ari (may Allaah be pleased with both of them) that he heard the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) saying, "From among my followers there will be some people who will consider illegal sexual intercourse, the wearing of silk, the drinking of alcoholic drinks, and the use of musical instruments as lawful."
[Sahih Al Bukhari : Volume 7 : Book 69 : Number 494v]

This Hadith clearly indicates that the use musical instruments is Haraam, just as illegal sexual intercourse, the wearing of silk, the drinking of alcoholic drinks are haraam.

However, the Noble Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) did permit the use of 'daff' on certain occasions. But, the scholars differ a little on use of daff. Some say that, since the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) permitted it, hence one can make use of it on any occasion. Others say that daff should only be used on those occasions on which the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) permitted its use. In addition one can also make use of natural sounds like the chirping of birds, ghushing water, thunder etc.

But is there anyone who will convey this to Qtv - The Only Islamic Channel, Round the Clock, Round the Globe ?

Open violation of the warning of the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم)

We notice the extensive use of musical instruments (other than daff or natural sounds) on Qtv. Even in its title track. And on many occasions, we find people openly using the haraam instruments when singing Qawwalis(?). Do not their 'Muftis' and 'Shaykh-ul-Hadees' and 'Islamic Scholars' ever notice this ?? Or are they unaware of it ?? Or is there some other reason ??

Will this 'Islamic' Channel please justify the use of musical instruments (other than daff)? Which Aayah of the Qur'an or which Sahih Hadith gives them the permission to make use of haraam musical instruments? Why are they giving the impression that use of musical instruments is allowed in Islam, to the innocent mass?
